The first level 1 Umpiring Course using the changes in the Laws of Cricket, which came into effect on the 1^st October, was held in Portugal and run by Ken Amos this weekend.

It was attended by representatives from six cricket clubs, one travelling from as far afield as Porto. As usual it was a learning experience, especially understanding the changes in the Laws. The candidates are now eagerly awaiting their results.
