Indoor League 2nd Round Report


 

Kings of Punjab played their first game against Gaspar Correia, who, having won the toss, elected to bat, but never really looked comfortable, after loosing Silkesh early on, ending on 81 runs for 4 wickets after ten overs.

 

 

In reply, Kings were soon in trouble, loosing 2 wickets in the first over, and another in the second – all to run outs.  Praveen and Sabi., however, stabilised the situation, with Kings running out victors with 3 overs to spare.

 

 

 

CHP took on Bangladesh in the second game.  Bangalesh, won the toss and batted first.  Despite loosing 2 wickets early on, the middle order stabilised the innings and they finished on 104 all out with 1 ball to spare.  In response, CHP were soon in trouble, loosing Jitesh first ball up.  Bhavesh and Nishank, ably supported Meru who anchored the innings, and CHP reached their target with 8 balls to spare.
